From 1978
TRI-CO-SAL was founded in 1978 in a small town in the Italian province, San Donato di Lecce. It started out as a small research, experimentation and production laboratory in the trichological and cosmetic sector.
Its founder, Alvaro Quarta, is deeply passionate about nature. As a scholar and a great connoisseur of medicinal plants – fascinated by their extraordinary healing properties – he abandoned his law studies to devote himself completely to his passion.
His great love for phytotherapy led him to formulate the first products. He had in mind the care of the skin and hair anomalies of his family members and the people who were close to him.
Due to their great effectiveness, these natural formulations remain, still today, the Company’s cornerstones.
To date
Over the years, TRI-CO-SAL has developed into a typical Italian family business. The children and then their families have become part of it, fuelling the Company with new enthusiasm to face great entrepreneurial challenges, both in Italy and abroad.
To date, the purpose, intent and prerogatives of the Company have not changed. Even after 40 years of activity, the founding mission remains the incessant research and experimentation. These aim at the formulation of excellent quality products for the care of the skin and hair, with the use of the most precious natural ingredients and synthetic elements.
All this has led our small provincial laboratory to establish itself as one of the major Italian entrepreneurial companies in the field of trichology and cosmetics.
